Reinert Kiil's HORA, a Norwegian Rape-Revenge movie / Grindhouse tribute, may very well be the surprise of the year and one of the best low budget movies to come out of Scandinavia in a long time
The film follows Rikke, a writer who is working on a new novel and needs to get out of the city to finish it. She visits her late mothers house in a small town named Dokka to finish her novel, attracting the attention of a number of rowdy male locals, including a “retarded” man, a bully and a “American psycho” type of guy. A day of violence against her starts a brutal wrath of vengeance by Rikke!
